“How on earth have you got to where you’ve got with an accent like that”.
That’s what someone said to Justine, our episode’s guest, in a pub a few years back.
As awful as that is, it does highlight one key aspect of Justine: she is always her authentic self. She’s Yorkshire and proud.
However, she’s still done well in her tax career and she is currently the Head of Tax (Employment & Devolved Taxes) at ICAS – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
