Back in 2017, an opportunity for Stephen to move in house came up.
At this point, he’d spent circa 11 years in Big 4 firms, where he’d enjoyed his time and could see the clear career path he was on – progression is important to Stephen.
He’d already been on secondments to in-house roles, and didn’t have a strong urge to move in house.
But this opportunity took Stephen’s interest.
It was in a sector he liked, with the chance to broaden his business skills.
But the decision to take the leap wasn’t an easy one.
There was a lot to think about.
Would he still get the development he wanted?
How would he find the transition?
In this episode, Stephen shares his experiences of transitioning from the Big 4 to his Head of Indirect Tax role for an FTSE 100 company, Entain.
Listen to hear about it!
