Back in October, I was presenting my Tax Research Masterclass, over Zoom, and I asked attendees which part they were looking forward to most.
I’d spent AGES creating the parts on how to use legislation well. Probably around 1/3 of the masterclass was on this, because I was convinced that this is what people would want to hear about the most. That and how to find relevant information.
But, as I saw the responses come in, to my surprise, a good handful of people were most looking forward to the case law fundamentals.
I ended up covering more than I initially intended, mainly through answering questions.
This all made me realise that many tax professionals have little if no experience of using case law.
I’m hoping to change that with this episode, with 5 benefits of using it. I want to encourage you and other tax professionals to use it more than you currently do.
You will become a better tax advisor for it. There’s so much value in every tax case – whether it’s a ruling from a First Tier Tribunal or a higher court. Every court case contains a ton of useful information for you.
Listen to hear the 5 benefits!
