Pete Miller and I discuss the ins and outs of developing your tax staff, in this episode. From feedback to effective mentoring, we provide advice and guidance to help you help your tax staff flourish.
Pete is a bit of a legend in the tax world, and after 11 years of running his own business, he merged with Jerroms to form Jerroms Miller Specialist Tax in April 2022.
He now has a remit of nurturing tax staff, although for the 11 years of running The Miller Partnership, he didn’t do any of this. I was therefore interested in how he’s approached this and what he’s noticed.
He shares his observations, where he is focusing his efforts and also how he is helping his staff to get better – the methods he is using. And as always, I provide my comments too.
Take a listen for a whole host of useful information to help you develop and train your tax staff better.
